1. PURPOSE

The purpose of local protective microwave detectors of "Forteza200", "Forteza100", "Forteza50", families (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is to protect perimeter sectors of different sites.Thenew detectors work in the frequency range of 24 GHz. The high frequency of the microwave module permits to narrow the detection zone of the detector “FORTEZA-200” up to 2,1m at length of a site of 200m, and at length of a site of 50m the width of the zone is 1m for all modifications of a series “FORTEZA-50/100/200”.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1. The detector is a bistatic microwave detector consisting of a transmitter and a receiver.
2.2. The principle of the detector operation is to generate an electromagnetic field in the space between a transmitter and a receiver. The field forms a volumetric detection zone in the form of a stretched ellipsoid of rotation and registers the changes of this field when an intruder crosses a detection zone.

3. DISTINCTIVE FEATURES

3.1. High noise immunity.
3.2. The detector is immune to the influence of strong electromagnetic fields (power lines up to 500 kV).
3.3. The detector can detect a crawling intruder in case of special preparation of a sterial zone and sensitivity adjustment.
3.4. Microstrip production technique of microwave modules.
3.5. "Forteza" family microwave modules: extended temperature range, advanced reliability.

4. SPECIFICATIONS

4.1. The length of a detection zone of the detectors:

• "Forteza200" - 10 ... 200 m; "Forteza100 - 10 ... 100 m;
• "Forteza50" - 5 ... 50 m.

4.2. The maximum widths/heights of a detection zones is:

• a person crosses a detection zone at a speed of 0,3…10m/sec.;
• supply voltage is below normal one;
• there is an attempt to mask a receiving unit of the detector;
• there is an attempt to demount the detector;
• the detector units are out of order.

4.4. Probability of detection is 0,98 minimum.
4.5. The detector supply voltage is 9…30 V.
4.6. Maximum consumption current is 0,045 A.
4.7. Maximum time of availability for operation is 30 sec. after power supply is ON.
4.8. Minimum time of an alarm is 3 sec.
4.9. Parameters of controlling relay:

• ontrolled current up to 0,1 A;
• controlled voltage up to 50 V.

4.11. Leak proof class IP-55.
4.12. Case dimensions: „FORTEZA 200/100/50” – 211×130×105 mm (Transmitter and receiver);
