It is well known that the perimeter security devices, microwave bistatic sensors are one of the most efficient sensors based on the calculations of the equipment cost per perimeter kilometer. Along with the noise immunity a volumetric detection zone is one of the important advantages of microwave bistatic sensors. But sometimes it can be considered as a disadvantage. For sensors operating in the frequency range of 9...10 GHz with the length of the site of 200 m, the zone`s width can be up 4 m.

For example, perimeter protection is needed a cottage to protect. But on such objects there is not always possible to make an interference free zone. That`s why you need to divide a long site into smaller parts or to reduce the interference free zone between the sensor and the fence (what provides the noise immunity reducing) or to refuse from the sensors of this type.

Forteza 24 Ghz microwave detectors.

Having a great experience in the microwave sensors developing, the specialists of our enterprise integrated all existing knowledge, exploitation experience and suggestions and remarks of customers in one sensor. As result the microwave sensor “FORTEZA-200” was developed operating in the frequency range of 24 GHz. Such frequency was chosen not occasionally prefering this value and applying the new original microwave antennas with the narrow detection zone; we reduced the sensor`s detection zone up to 2,1 m without any impairments of qualitative adjectives! It is a main distinctive feature of “Forteza-200” from the similar equipment.

The narrow detection zone allows to use the microwave sensor when different buildings, artificial obstacles and green plants are located on the detection zone or there are nearby people`s or transport passages.
The width of the zone is inseparably linked with the area where there are many natural interferences (swinging of  grass, bushes or trees, precipitation, etc.). Moreover antennas with the narrow detection zone reduce the penetration possibility of the electromagnetic interferences to the receiver (Rx). That`s why reducing the detection zone`s width, we considerably increase the sensor`s noise immunity. It is very important for the equipment choosing.

The new microwave sensor has the unified assembly from the equipment “FMW-3”, “FORTEZA-300/500”. The sensors passed the performance check in different exploitation conditions and became popular equipping different types of objects. So, we can say the sensor “FORTEZA-200” is an embodiment of advanced and time-proved technologies. It doesn`t require any additional proofs and quality tests.
The sensor has the modification “FORTEZA-200T” intending for the operation in difficult climatic conditions and has an extended temperature range up to -50° C.
The most important difference from other sensors is the synchronization. “FORTEZA-200S” provides the wire synchronization (within the set and between neighboring sites) increasing additionally the noise immunity from flare light and excepting mutually influence of the adjacent sensors thanks to a different time of the transmitters (Tx) operation. The synchronization applying between the sets provide the united sensors operation in such limited spaces like:
windows protection (the sensors are installed parallel on each building`s floor. The application of any other equipment provokes a flare light generation from neighboring sites. As a result - an unstable operation of all systems).
storehouses` passages and garrets protection. on the sites with lots of snow it is possible to install 2 or 3 sensors on the same support. When the ground part is under the snow, the upper parts are operable.
Thanks to the new features and saving all the microwave sensors advantages, “FORTEZA-200” allows to extend the application area of microwave sensors in the perimeter security systems.
Because of foreign customers interest to the performance specification of  “FORTEZA-200”, the sensor was tested in the European laboratories, received CE certificate and became exportable.
